Angelique Burris is a sultry singer noted for her smooth delivery and impressive vocal range of jazz, soul, gospel, blues and R&B tunes.  She started singing in the church choir as a little girl.  Her parents enrolled her in piano lessons that furthered her love for music.

The advanced choir and music classes at West Charlotte High School developed her desire to major in Music Education at North Carolina Central University.  She toured with NCCU's Touring Choir that appeared at Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center.  She was a favorite soloist with NCCU's Jazz Band, and obtained a bachelors degree in Music Education.  Angelique has performed with a rock band, a professional gospel group, a host of churches and of course studio work. 

After building a beautiful family, completing a masters degree and teaching and counseling in the public school system, Angelique has returned to her first love of music, and is performing with her own band called, Angelique and Musical Explosions.
